The new ‘DIRECT ROUTE’ has been passed by the Government to enable you to go straight for the CE lorry entitlement (the old Class 1 HGV licence).. You will get the provisional CE entitlement when completing your HGV Medical, so no need to pass your Cat C to gain your provisional CE.
Why not ask about our re-vamped HGV Classroom theory course!!
We recommend that after completing your HGV medical and you have shown interest in the CE licence, you book an assessment when your licence returns from the DVLA. We will ACTUALLY TAKE YOU OUT in one of our CE combinations and assess your drive. We totally understand that most of you have driven nothing bigger than the car you are driving now, so we don’t just hand over the keys and say let’s go… Information will be given on what we want from you, and what we expect, then assessment will commence..
The CE licence means you are entitled to drive the largest vehicles allowed on the road in the UK, so we need to see if you are comfortable with your choice, and are capable to drive one of these vehicles.
Call us 0116 287 7692 to find out more, or book an hour’s assessment (provisional needed) with one of our instructors.
If its just the CPC4 training and testing you are looking for, then give the office a direct call/email and we can schedule you in on a given Friday. Thats the training and testing completed for just £199
A small selection of feedback on our LGV Category C+E course.
“As with my class 2 I can find no fault with the training or the people I have met. Every one has been very patient with me as I got a bit stressed, Darren really does deserve a medal as does Rick. The whole experience has been fantastic and I have recommended Data Academy to 3 or 4 people who have all said they will call.” N.S. A lady class 1 driver. Well done Nicky!
