B+E means “Car or Van, towing a trailer, caravan or horsebox”. The B+E (car and trailer licence) will now be placed on to your Car (B) licence when you next update your licence details. We do strongly advise that some kind of familiarisation is taken to enable you to drive safely with a trailer, And to go through the safe uncoupling/recoupling procedure, to make sure you are capable to handle the whole BE safely on to the public highway.
Our B+E familiarisation is designed to enable you to drive safely with a loaded trailer, but also a safe procedure to reverse and control a loaded trailer. This will be done on road, and off..
