Things may look a little different next time you visit our offices. We have put some measures in place to help keep us all as safe as possible – so here’s what to expect.
We will take your temperature when you arrive at our premises. If it is high, we are afraid you wont be allowed in. We will ask you to wash your hands and sanitise them as you come in and we will ask for your contact details – name, contact number and Postcode. This is for the NHS Test and Trace System, so we can help to stop the spread of COVID 19. We will ask you to bring a face mask with you and our staff will wear face masks too. Chairs have been spaced 2 metres apart and we are afraid you won’t be offered the customary tea and biscuits – we haven’t gone off you – we just need to keep us all safe!
The contact information that we hold for our trainees will be shared with NHS Test and Trace if requested, unless you specifically ask the office staff not to share it – preferably in writing so we have a record.
Our medical evenings are going to look a little different too. Please ring to make an appointment. We ask you to arrive 15 minutes early so we can help you with your paperwork before you see the doctor. There will be fewer people in the office so we can maintain social distancing and chairs will be sanitised in between use. You will need to bring a face mask with you.
Please don’t visit the office if you have COVID-19 symptoms, are waiting for the results of a test or have been in contact with someone with COVID 19 in the last 14 days. Someone will answer the phone between 7am and 4.30pm so you can always give us a ring on 01162 877 692 if you have any queries.
Trainees, rest assured our vehicles are thoroughly sanitised before and after you’ve used them. Our instructors are taking every precaution they can to keep you safe. Please remember to bring your face mask to wear for your training as well as your licence every day!
We confirm we have complied with the government’s guidance on managing the risk of COVID 19.
